Self-Described Playing Style:

• Straight-forward, solid bass player who believes in being tight with the drummer. Nothing fancy or flashy. Looking at my influences, you can imagine that I tend toward running, blues-oriented bass patterns and putting in bass fills. I can do the metal e-string ride, but I prefer not to...kinda boring. Not much of a slap-and-pop player.

Current Musical Goal:

• To play in a local band who is interested in the local scene only. I'm not looking to "make it" anymore. I also do not have time for touring.
• I prefer a band playing hard rock (classic and contemporary) or heavy metal (classic and contemporary - though I'm not interested in death metal or any other "brutal" metal style in which "singing" is actually unintelligable growling or screaming). Take a look at my fave artists to get an idea of what I'm about. I would also be interested in playing reggae.

• Several minor bands that either never got off the ground, fell apart after the first couple of gigs, or I quite because it just didn't work out. I played bass in all of these.
